Something we stress to our clients is to “ditch the filter.” In a world where we are so consumed by technology and society telling us it’s only appropriate to look a certain way. We want to celebrate you and honour your beauty as you are. Educating our clients on proper skin care while offering affordable pricing to show that caring for yourself does not have to be a luxury, but a necessity.
Embracing your natural beauty and come as you are. A relaxing and comfortable place where zero judgement is passed when you enter our doors. We are passionate about helping people and allowing you to take control of boosting your own self confidence.
Come in, kick your shoes off. Let’s play some wicked throw back music and chat the appointment away. Or allow you to relax in some nostalgic music from the past in peace and quiet.. the choice is entirely up to you.
About the Owner
Tamika is originally from Maple Ridge, B.C. At 25 years old she created MicroMeeks out of the second bedroom of her home.
MicroMeeks was created in the middle of the COVID pandemic. Knowing the risks of starting a new business during this time, she dove right in. Using her network of people she met working in a restaurant for 6 years, she was able to build a clientele to over 400 patrons in less than a year.
As MicroMeeks increased in demand, it was time to move onto the next chapter: getting a commercial space. Thus, creating MicroMeeks Skin Studio.
Her passion is helping restore people’s confidence; skin care comes as a close second.
MicroMeeks’ goal is centred around corrective skincare, healthy lifestyle changes and investing in your future self.
“Come as you are” mentality and don’t allow the pressures of society dictate how you appear. We are here to support and celebrate YOU.
Now with a clientele list of over 1400 patrons, Tamika has expanded to include an apprentice to help take on clients as well.
Tamika is a mom of 2 under 2, married to a fellow entrepreneur, and raised out in Maple Ridge, BC where she currently resides with her family.
